LOUISE HAWKLEY MSc Rehabilitation (Neuro), BSc (Hons.) OT
Louise is an experienced Neurological Rehabilitation Case Manager providing Assessment of Immediate Needs and ongoing case management, she has focused her career on neurological rehabilitation. Louise has a Masters degree in Neuro-rehabilitation as well as being a qualified Occupational Therapist (BSc Hons.).
Louise is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists – Neurological Practice (RCOT-SS) and the British Association of Brain Injury Case Managers (BABICM).
Having developed a diverse caseload of clients including; children, young adults and adults and after working for a number of years in case management, Louise views her role as a truly collaborative process with the client at the centre. The smooth running of any case is crucial for the rehabilitation and overall well-being of her clients and their families. Louise’s experience in proactively managing the complex needs of both the client and the families involved from the outset promotes engagement in the rehabilitation process
KEN HAWKLEY BSc (Hons.) Occupational Therapy
Ken has worked in brain injury case management since 2019. Since qualifying as an Occupational Therapist Ken has focused on brain injury rehabilitation in both children and adults. Ken works to promote independence and meaningful activities for his clients, seeking rehabilitation potential in activities both old and new to his clients.
Ken has experience in the following areas:
· Mild, moderate, and severe brain injury
· Cerebral Palsy and birth injury
· Epilepsy
· Sensory impairments
Ken is an excellent communicator and quickly develops rapport with clients and their families. Ken is skilled at building multi-disciplinary teams around the client and involving the client and family in the rehabilitation journey. Ken works pro-actively to support his clients to maximise their potential, re-gain skills and explore new skills and activities along the way. He believes that finding the right activity at the right time is key to rehabilitation and works with his clients to explore activities that will be engaging whilst addressing rehabilitation needs.
